A Cleared Sidewalk, Donated by Our Crew
The interior remodeling contractors near me that neighbors recommend also show up for the neighborhood — here's how our team cleared a blocked sidewalk so local kids could wait safely off the street.
When you search for interior remodeling contractors near me, you're really asking one question: can I trust this crew in my community? This project answers it. A blocked sidewalk near our Centreville home base was forcing local kids to wait in the street — a safety problem nobody had claimed. So our team volunteered its time and cleared it, at no cost to the neighborhood.
The work was simple: assess the obstruction, clear the walkway, and confirm it was safe and fully usable for neighborhood children. The community publicly thanked the crew afterward — the same kind of word-of-mouth that has built our home interior renovation projects into a 4.9-star reputation across 91 Google reviews.
Care like this isn't separate from the craft — it's the same habit. The crew that protects a stranger's sidewalk is the one that protects your floors, keeps your home usable mid-project, and leaves a clean jobsite every day. If that's the standard you want in your own kitchen, bathroom, or basement, meet your local interior renovation contractor and see what we handle.
No Materials — Just Time and Labor
This was a donated community service project. The only investment was our crew's time, equipment, and care — given at no cost to the neighborhood.

How Our Crew Cleared the Sidewalk, Step by Step
This project wasn't a remodel — it was a donated service for our neighborhood. A blocked sidewalk was pushing local kids into the street, so our crew volunteered the time and labor to fix it. Here's exactly what we did.

A Note From the Owner
Why a Remodeling Crew Cleared a Sidewalk for Free
People search for interior remodeling contractors near me and find a long list of names. I want you to know who's actually behind ours.
Hi, I'm Alex Bautista, owner of Gigi Homes and Construction. We're a family-owned remodeling company based right here in Centreville, and our business was built on referrals — one clean jobsite, one honest estimate, one finished bathroom or kitchen at a time. When we heard a blocked sidewalk was forcing neighborhood kids to wait in the street, we didn't send a quote. We sent a crew, on our own time, at no cost to anyone. That's not a marketing move — it's the same standard we bring into your home: show up, do the work right, leave the space safer and better than we found it. Whether it's a designer bathroom, a custom kitchen, or a sidewalk our neighbors needed cleared, my name is on the work. That's what family-owned, locally accountable means to me — and it's why neighbors across Centreville, Chantilly, Fair Lakes, and Fair Oaks pass our name over the fence.

What can I say. Alex and his team did an incredible job with our hallway bathroom renovation. They were fast but thorough. Detail oriented. Clean. Courteous. Always on time. Stayed late when needed. This was a total gut job. Removing the bathtub and putting in a walk in shower. The process of picking out materials was super easy. We provided the inspiration, they provided the recommendations. All around an A+ experience. We will be starting a new project soon and Alex / GiGi Homes and Construction will be our go to provider. Thank you for everything!!!

I needed to get my whole house painted (indoor and outdoor) along with a few other renovation items. They were quick to respond. Started work a few days after our initial consultation and we’re nothing short of professional. Definitely will be using their services again!

Alex is an absolute pleasure to work with! I had a great experience. Alex doesn’t just do the job, he does it with care, precision and attention to detail- almost like he is taking care of his own home. Alex and his team are professional and polite. He even brought back my trash cans back in (it was trash day) before he left which he didn’t have to do at all! If you want a reliable contractor, Alex is your man!
